Chin Augmentation

Chin Augmentation/Enhancement surgery [also called Genioplasty] strengthens the chin, neck and jawline contours. Usually, surgery involves inserting an implant around the existing chin bone of a patient to improve the chin size and shape, and create a more naturally appealing balance between facial features. Chin enhancement can also be done cutting the chin bone and moving it forwards.

Treatment

  • General or Local Anaesthesia.
  • Small incisions are made either underneath the chin or inside the mouth.
  • Placement of chin implants or moving the chin bone forward.
