Mastopexy

To surgically lift the sagging breasts is called Mastopexy. It is done by removing the excess skin and/or by adding bulk to the breast volume by a silicone implant or by injecting fat. The fat is harvested from the patient’s body where there may be some excess. With ageing the breasts can sag from loss of skin elasticity or weight reduction or the effects of gravity over time. The skin envelope can be tightened to provide a youthful appearance to the breast.

The nipple areolar complex is relocated to its normal position.
